Who are we?

PifPaf Press is a riso-printing studio based in Hägersten, Stockholm. We act as a micropress releasing small books, zines and comic books but also as a printing studio.

Printing with us

There are a couple of things to think about before printing using riso, we are happy to help you setting up your files or receive them ready to go. Don't hesitate to reach out, we always starts with a test print to make sure you are satisfied with the result.

Workshops

You are a group of 4+ people and would like an initiation to riso printing or improving yours skills. Feel free to reach out so we can schedule a nice time together.

What is riso-printing?

Risograph printing is simliar to screenprinting but with the speed of a duplicator, it allows for some very vivid colors and preserves an analog feel to the prints. It's the perfect tool to print posters, flyers, fanzines or booklets. Each color has its own drum and we print one color at a time. The color can overlay each other which lead to them multiplying.

What paper do we use?

We are printing on Munken Print paper in cream and white and currently have 70, 150 and 300gsm available. We can of course find and order the paper that best suits your project.

Want to prepare your files?

A riso printer needs black and white images for each layers of colors. If you have an existing illustration that needs separation we would recommend using Spectrolite. If you need further help preparing your file(s) just contact us: info@pifpafpress.se!
